Aventurine under a baguette-set bezel puts a natural sparkle beneath a cut one, which is a rather odd pairing indeed. The stone glitters from the inclusions inside it while the bezel glitters from facets cut on its surface. They never synchronize with each other, so the Day-Date always has two quite different kinds of light at once. Everose gold surrounds both and pulls the green darker than it would ever look in a white case.

The 36 mm case is Everose Gold with a bezel above it set with baguette-cut diamonds. A green aventurine dial carries diamond-set hour markers in gold, with the Roman six and nine also set. The day and the date appear in apertures at twelve and three, both of them with secure rapid-setting from the crown.
