Diamond Jewelry Care

Diamonds may be the hardest natural material, but they’re not indestructible. They can scratch other gemstones or metals, so they should be stored with care. Here's how we clean our diamonds at home.

Mix lukewarm water with a few drops of mild, ammonia-free dish soap.

Soak the jewelry for 15-20 minutes.

Gently brush behind the stones and around the prongs using a soft toothbrush.

Rinse with clean water and dry with lint-free cloth.

Avoid bleach, harsh chemicals, or abrasive cleaners

Colored Gemstone Jewelry Care

Gemstones vary in harness and durability. Sapphires and rubies are quite strong, while emeralds, opals, and tourmalines are more delicate and require extra care. Here's how we clean our colored gemstones at home.

Use lukewarm water and a drop of mild soap.

Gently wipe with a soft cloth. Use a soft brush only on hard, non porous stones like sapphires, rubies, and spinels.

Avoid brushing delicate gems like emeralds, opals, turquoise, and pearls, which can be scratched or damaged by even gentle abrasion.

Avoid ultrasonic cleaners (unless advised), sudden temperature changes, and direct sunlight for extended periods.

Specialty Care for Omega Chains

Omega chains are stunning, structured style made from curved metal plates over a mesh core. They don’t drape like other chains, which makes them prone to bending, kinking, or denting.

Lay flat when storing, preferably in a rigid, form fitting case.

Handle gently and avoid placing pressure on the chain.

Wipe clean with a dry, soft cloth after each wear.

Put it on last, after hair and skincare routines.

Don't fold, twist, or hand for extended periods.

Don’t sleep, travel, or exercise while wearing. Don’t store near other jewelry that might press against it or scratch it.

Use a hard case with padding and compartments. Avoid travel pouches unless flat and structured
