White gold is the coolest of the metals Rolex uses on a Day-Date, and pink is easily the warmest dial. Setting those two against each other is entirely deliberate, and the result never quite settles into one temperature. Baguette-cut stones on the dial then side with the case, while the pink stands there entirely alone. With the bracelet also set, that lone warm element ends up surrounded by white metal on every single side of it.

The 36 mm case is White Gold, with a bezel above it that is set with diamonds. A pink dial carries baguette-cut diamonds at the hours, set over a sunray finish below them. The day and the date appear in apertures at twelve and three, both with secure rapid-setting from the crown.
