Mint green under a full ring of diamonds and no warm metal at all is a strange Datejust to build indeed. The pastel is soft and the bezel is hard, and neither one of them gives ground to the other. White gold makes the contrast a good deal cleaner than yellow would, but it does not resolve the disagreement.
