The olive green Roman dial on the flat Oyster bracelet is about as restrained as a set bezel ever allows. Below the case the Datejust reads almost entirely as plain steel, and above it as something rather different indeed. The dial sits dark enough that the diamonds seem to float above it rather than sit down on it. Very few of these were ever built, and the combination has stayed obscure ever since it was withdrawn.

A diamond-set Yellow Gold bezel sits over a Stainless Steel case measuring 36 mm across the middle. The olive green dial holds applied Roman numerals, and the date at three sits beneath a Cyclops lens. Baton hands run over a sunray surface that lightens noticeably wherever direct light reaches the dial. Three-piece solid links form the Oyster bracelet, Yellow Gold at the center, closing on a folding Oysterclasp.
