Adding diamonds at the hours to a champagne dial already under a set bezel removes the last plain surface entirely. Nothing on this Datejust is unadorned except for the bracelet, and even that carries gold down its middle. The stones on the dial disappear into the pale ground rather more than the bezel stones ever do. It ends up far more restrained than the written specification would suggest, which is largely the yellow gold effect.

The 36 mm case is Stainless Steel with a Yellow Gold bezel set with diamonds above it. More diamonds in gold settings replace the hour markers on a champagne-colored dial with no printed indices. A Cyclops lens magnifies the date at three, and baton hands travel over the pale ground beneath. The Jubilee bracelet places Yellow Gold centers between Stainless Steel outer links, closing on a folding Oysterclasp with an extension.
