Champagne sitting under a diamond bezel is the version of this Datejust reference that hides its stones best of all. The dial and the bezel sit very close in tone, so the diamonds read as texture rather than contrast. That works only with yellow gold, since a pale dial would separate quite sharply from a white gold rim. It is the most integrated of the set-bezel Datejusts, and easily the least obviously ornamental of all of them.

The 36 mm case is Stainless Steel and the bezel above it is Yellow Gold set with diamonds. A champagne-colored dial carries applied hour markers, with the date at three under a Cyclops lens. Baton hands cross a sunray finish that shifts between pale gold and something close to white. Five-piece Jubilee links run Yellow Gold centers between Stainless Steel edges, closing on a folding Oysterclasp with an extension.
