The chocolate diamond-bezel Datejust 126281 on the flat Oyster bracelet keeps all of its warmth confined above the case. Below it the flat links stay steel-colored apart from the narrow Everose strip running down the middle of them. That contrast is sharper than the Jubilee equivalent, and it makes the dial look darker than it actually is. Buyers who wanted the brown dial without the full two-tone effect took this version rather than the other one.

The 36 mm case is Stainless Steel with an Everose Gold bezel set with diamonds above it. A chocolate dial carries applied hour markers, with the date at three beneath a Cyclops lens.
