Very few Datejust 126231 examples appear to have left the factory in this particular arrangement of parts at any point.

The 36 mm case is Stainless Steel with a fluted Everose Gold bezel sitting directly above it. A slate dial carries Roman numerals in gold, and the six and the nine are set with diamonds. The date appears at three under a Cyclops lens, with baton hands crossing the sunray finish below. Three-piece solid links form the Oyster bracelet, Everose Gold at the center, on a folding Oysterclasp.
