Flat links under a mint green Roman dial strip out the one element that was holding the theme together. The fluted bezel still reads as formal and the pastel dial still reads as playful, and now neither is helped. It ends up being the most argumentative configuration in a Datejust reference that was already full of them. Rolex built very few of these, and the combination almost never turns up in the wild at this point.

The 36 mm case is Stainless Steel under a fluted bezel cast entirely in Everose Gold. The mint green dial holds applied Roman numerals, and the date at three sits below a Cyclops lens. Baton hands run across a sunray surface that shifts between pale green and something near white. The Oyster bracelet uses three-piece solid links with Everose Gold at the center, closing on a folding Oysterclasp.
