Roman numerals on white against a yellow gold bezel is the most traditional dress specification the Datejust 36 has ever offered. Nothing about it is remotely modern, and that is precisely the reason it has outlasted most of the alternatives. The numerals are applied rather than printed, so they catch exactly the same light the bezel does. Rolex has taken the 126203 out of production entirely, and this particular configuration goes out along with the rest of it.

The 36 mm case is Stainless Steel under a domed bezel cast entirely in Yellow Gold. Applied Roman numerals mark the hours on a white dial, with the date at three under a Cyclops lens. Baton hands cross the numerals and no printed track runs around the outer edge of the dial. The Jubilee bracelet sets Yellow Gold centers between Stainless Steel outer links, closing on a folding Oysterclasp with an extension link.
