The black Roman dial on the Oyster bracelet is the sharpest and least ornamented configuration in the whole Datejust reference. Flat links, a dark dial and a single band of gold at the bezel is nearly all there is to it. That reduction is what makes it work, because the numerals need an uncluttered setting to register properly. Fewer of these were built than the Jubilee equivalent, and they are correspondingly harder to turn up now.

A domed Yellow Gold bezel caps a Stainless Steel case measuring 36 mm across the middle. The bright black dial holds applied Roman numerals in gold, and the date sits at three. A Cyclops lens magnifies that date, and baton hands travel across the dark surface beneath it. The Oyster bracelet uses three-piece solid links with Yellow Gold centers, closing on a folding Oysterclasp fitted with a comfort extension link.
