Stripping the Jubilee off a white Roman dial leaves the Datejust 126201 in its most understated two-tone form of all. The flat Oyster links keep the gold narrow and low, so the numerals are left to do the formal work by themselves. It is a version that gets overlooked precisely because the dial and the bracelet pull in opposite directions. Rolex offered both bracelet options here and then withdrew the reference before either one found a settled audience.
A domed Everose Gold bezel sits above a Stainless Steel case measuring 36 mm across the middle. Applied Roman numerals mark the hours on a white dial, with the date at three under a Cyclops lens. Baton hands cross the dial, and the outer edge is left without a printed track. The Oyster bracelet uses three-piece solid links with Everose Gold at the center and a folding Oysterclasp.
