The perpetual calendar ranks among watchmaking's most revered complications, a mechanism so clever it tracks the irregular lengths of months and even leap years, needing no correction until the year 2100. Patek Philippe has mastered it like no other house, and the 7140 brings that pinnacle achievement to a refined feminine form. Far from a diamond-set afterthought, it proves a woman's watch can house the deepest horological substance. Collectors treasure it as a rare feminine grail.
The 35mm rose gold case is framed by a bezel set with brilliant-cut diamonds, lending sparkle to its proportions. Its silvery sunburst dial orchestrates the perpetual calendar with balance: a day subdial at nine, a month and leap-year indicator at three, a moon phase at six, and the date read around the periphery. Applied rose gold Arabic numerals mark the hours. The ultra-thin self-winding movement drives it, worn on a glossy alligator strap.
*The Grand Complications Reference 7140R-001 was discontinued in April 2026, and was the first ladies perpetual calendar in Patek's Grand Complications collection (originally launched in 2012).
*This timepiece comes with three alligator straps, a stylus, and an additional caseback.
