The beige tartan is the quieter of the two plaid dials, and the change of colour changes what the technique does. Where the blue reads as a stated pattern, the beige lets the hand-guilloché underneath dominate — the engine-turning becomes the subject and the enamel only tints it. It is the most restrained thing in the Rare Handcrafts programme, and the closest the series comes to a watch that could be worn without announcing what it is.
The rose gold case measures 34.5 mm in the Golden Ellipse shape. The dial is engine-turned by hand on a rose engine and finished in beige translucent enamel, so the plaid is read through depth of cut rather than through printed colour. A self-winding movement drives hours and minutes with no further indication. The watch is worn on an alligator strap. Patek Philippe treats the two tartans as separate references rather than as colour options, which is how the Manufacture handles the whole Rare Handcrafts series.
