Black is the reference execution of the 37 mm Offshore chronograph, and it is the version against which the coloured dials are read. The Lady Tapisserie grid is visible only in raking light on a black dial, so the watch alternates between looking plain and looking heavily textured depending on how it is held.

The stainless steel case measures 37 mm with a diamond bezel. The black dial carries the Lady Tapisserie pattern with a circular-grained external zone, white gold applied hour-markers and Royal Oak hands. The chronograph runs with small seconds and a date. The watch is completed on a black rubber strap with a stainless steel folding clasp. It belongs to the smaller-case run within the Royal Oak Offshore collection.
