The pink gold snow-set Royal Oak is the warmer of the pair, and the metal changes what the technique does: against white gold the diamonds and the case merge into a single field, while against pink gold the setting stays visibly separate from the metal it covers. Snow setting itself demands that stones of differing size be placed without a repeating pattern until no metal shows, which can only be assessed by eye rather than measured.

The pink gold case measures 37 mm, the octagonal bezel and its eight hexagonal screws still readable through the setting. The pink gold dial is snow-set with brilliant-cut diamonds with baguette-cut diamond hour-markers. The pink gold bracelet is snow-set along its full length and closed with an AP folding clasp, so the treatment runs continuously from case to clasp. The technique also has no obvious stopping point, so knowing when the surface is finished is a judgement the setter makes rather than a specification the Manufacture can write down.
