Reference 201.027

The Saxonia Thin 201.027 is, by A. Lange & Söhne's own account, the thinnest watch the manufacture has made so far, reduced to hours and minutes alone. First introduced in 2011 and refreshed in 2016, the Saxonia Thin is Lange's purest dress watch, and this 37 mm White Gold version keeps the proportions tight enough to sit under any shirt cuff. The Saxonia family it belongs to dates to Lange's first collection, presented in Dresden in 1994.

Its White Gold case is only 5.9 mm high, framing a Silver dial of solid silver with slender gold baton markers and hands and nothing else: no seconds, no date. The hand-wound movement, finished with a German silver three-quarter plate and a hand-engraved balance cock, is visible through the sapphire caseback. Every Lange movement is assembled twice, this one included. Black alligator with a White Gold prong buckle completes it.
