Presented at Watches & Wonders 2021, the Little Lange 1 Moon Phase 182.886 frames a dial of dark-blue gold flux with a bezel set with brilliant-cut diamonds, in White Gold. A. Lange & Söhne chose the glittering flux, whose copper particles evoke a starry sky, to suit the moon display, and it offered the model both with this diamond bezel and without it, as the 182.086. The layout follows the asymmetric Lange 1 of 1994.

Beneath Lange's outsize date, a White Gold lunar disc scattered with stars turns inside the small seconds, while the off-center time display and the power-reserve scale complete the Blue dial. Rhodium-plated gold hands and star-shaped hour markers match the case. The 36.8 mm White Gold case is 10 mm high, with a sapphire caseback over the hand-wound movement, on dark blue alligator with a White Gold buckle.
